St. Joseph’s School was established in 1996 at the request of the people of Kendrapara. It is a Minority Educational Institution established by the Archdiocese of Cuttack – Bhubaneswar, administered by the Loyola Educational Society, Bhubaneswar, and registered under the Loyola Educational Society (LES), as per provisions of the Constitution of India Article 30, Clause (i). The mesmerizing words of Martin Luther King, “I have a dream…” keep ringing in my ears until I strike a chord with it in consonance with our passion for St. Joseph’s School, Kendrapara.

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE ON THE OCCASION OF TEACHERS' DAY 2021.
" A TEACHER PRESENTS THE PAST, REVEALS THE PRESENT AND CREATES THE FUTURE"
Our scriptures are rich in defining the concept of Guru (Teacher). The scope of Guru is so extensive that it can never be explained with words. It is a unique and unchallenging source of Light, removing darkness of ignorance all along without any discrimination.
Teaching-Learning process is not a recent phenomenon. It is rather an age-old system having its root in Guru Kulas and rolling down generation wise with plenty of innovation and modifications so as to make it impressive and effective as well.
An educational institution can be termed as a man making machine. Teachers are entrusted with the responsibility of making the machine run smoothly producing the future citizens of the nation. The role of a teacher is to guide, inspire and direct a child to walk erect on the right track and insert a sense of confidence within so that he/she can face the world around boldly like a brave warrior.
St. Joseph's School, Kendrapara is no way back rather it is bound and determined in this regard. Most of our products have been working in various fields and serving the nation in high ranks as doctors, engineers, scientists, professors, officers in IT sectors and so on and so forth. Our school does have an outstanding record of giving out 100 percent Result with highest percentage of marks in ICSE STD-X Examination. The entire credit goes to the students and all the staff as well. We do have an experienced and efficient teaching staff having expertise in subjects concerned. They are so dedicated and devoted to their profession that even the pandemic crisis has put little impact on their work. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam rightly said "Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, caliber and future of an individual".
Our teachers have been getting themselves involved in teaching both Online and Offline classes taking the gravity of the situation in mind. They are the great assets of our institution. Specially the teachers teaching in higher sections do take much strain while preparing the students for the
Grand Finale (ICSE STD-X EXAMINATION). All our teachers deserve plenty of high appreciation for the same.
Parents of St. Joseph's School, Kendrapara are quite cooperative and supportive in all respect. In this pandemic situation they take the great role of a first teacher at home. It seems as if they are committed to walk hand in hand so as to uphold the glory of the school in the year to come. We are highly grateful to them for this generous gesture.
Truly it is said that, "To Teach is to Touch a Life Forever"; Because Teachers gave us all the reasons to dream big and all the resources to achieve it. Teachers are a Blessing in our Life.
Let's remember all our teachers in our prayers and wish them HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY & MANY MORE RETURNS OF THE DAY.
